Ben Levin uses music to tell stories, most of which are about death and sexual frustration. This may lead you to believe that he is an unhappy person, or that he 
has struggled a great deal. The truth however, is that Ben is an average person with average worries and, like you, he is a genius. Einstein said “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” The truth is, that the average person is full of incredible emotions, both beautiful and horrible thoughts, and the potential to help others a great deal. It is from those emotions that a person may find his or her genius. The most powerful feelings you have can lead and inspire you to accomplish your potential (or destroy you…) Ben’s music is very personal and is inspired by the powerful feelings people share. It gives him great joy when someone like you takes the time to learn about or listen to his music. This bio will inevitably fail to sum up who he is, but at least you know how much it means to him that you read it.
This site acts as a hub for Ben and his projects. Ben composes and is the guitarist for the bands Ben Levin Group and Bent Knee. Ben Levin Group plays dynamic 40-minute epic pieces and highlights Ben’s eccentric personality. Bent Knee plays shorter more intimate songs and offers a dark window into Ben and co-writer Courtney Swain’s secrets.
Ben is also the guitarist for the thrash metal band Black Trip, which he loves very much.
